Teenagers are our future

When I was in high school, teenagers were good for nothing but trouble and loud music. We weren't really ever included in things. I realized the other day that nothing has changed. How come we don't give youth enough credit? Yeah, some of them are a handful, but there are older people who are also a handful. I just spent a weekend with the youth group for Remastered weekend. These kids have a passion to change the world, they just don't get the credit. If our churches can't include them in making the difference, how will they ever make a difference? They will be leading our churched one day. Have you ever wondered why many teenagers get out of church when they leave the youth group? What if this is a big reason for that? I don't doubt that our teenagers will be the change the world needs, I know they are the change, but what if we acknowledged that? What if we let them know they are important? Why do the youth get put on the back burner? It's time to start a revolution, and our teenagers will be the leaders of this revolution! Let them know that they mean something!
